Nest

Nest is platform to provide email services. It includes a database, configuration hooks, web application (for end user and admins), background daemons.

  • Multiple servers: nest is aware of multiple backend imap or shell servers and can spread the account creation load to the servers with the most capacity.
  • Help tickets: public and private help tickets, a ticket creation wizard.
  • Service request: click a button to approve or reject a request, and the action is complete automatically.
  • Multilingual: embedded in the program itself is an interface to translate every bit of UI text.
  • User settings: time zone, language, username.
  • Customize mailbox: modify your aliases, forward, quota.
  • Spam settings: for use with spam assassin.
  • Mail filters: for use with maildrop mail delivery agent.
Nest is under active development and will be available for download soon. It will be released under the GPL (GNU General Public License).
